Conservation is not possible without the support of the local populations. To explain the importance of nature conservation for the future of humans, the Proyecto Mono Tocón has started, with the help of motivated volunteers, an education program.

Our team organizes a large range of educational activities for groups with different ages and backgrounds.

Some examples of our activities:

-          visits to schools and universities

-          visits of native communities

-          development of a curriculum for teachers

-          participation to a range of manifestations

-          participation to activities of other ONGs

-          organisation of a regional congress on environmental education

-          development of a comic book on the importance of rainforest

We hope that we can open in the near future an education centre in Moyobamba.
