We have focus with our conservation activities first on research and education.

With the help of the authorities (INRENA) we have been able to rescue several titi monkeys that were illegally kept as pets. These animals have been transferred to Huachipa Zoo in Lima, where they now have a happy life with other titi monkeys and serve as perfect ambassadors for their wild counterparts.

We are currently investigating the possibility to create a protected area for titi monkeys in a piece of forest near Moyobamba.
